SIPO deploys localities to launch a special IPR protection and enforcement campaign |

IP departments nationwide will launch a special campaign on IPR protection and enforcement during the second and third quarters in a more concentrated, powerful and pragmatic way, according to the arrangement of deepening working mechanism on special campaigns outlined in the Plan on Patent Administrative Enforcement Capacity Promotion by the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO). Complaint hotlines will be soon posted on the official website of the SIPO. During the special campaign, local IP offices, focusing on livelihood sectors, major projects and competitive industries, will pragmatically check and rectify possible violations at large circulation places and exhibitions each month to combat patent infringing and counterfeiting. All information relating to case investigations and enforcement events will be published on local major media, websites of the SIPO and local IP offices. The SIPO will take a variety of ways, such as to vigorously promote the action, strengthen guidance on law enforcement and case handling, deepen working mechanisms on special actions, to name a few, to satisfy innovators and consumers and safeguard people's livelihood. Based on action programs and actual results, the SIPO will offer critical impetus and support to some chosen IP offices. All local IP offices are required to move swiftly to arrange all the work. |
