Sino-Russia Joint Statement: to continue the cooperation in IP protection |

On October 14, the Sino-Russia Joint Statement issued at the 14th regular meeting between China and Russia, which gave a high appraisal for the achievements through the cooperation between China and Russia. The Statement indicated that both sides have positive evaluations for the cooperation in intellectual property rights protection and will go on with the cooperation in related areas. Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin took a visit to China on October 12 to 14 following the invitation by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao. On October 13, the two sides held the 14th regular meeting in Beijing and issued the Joint Statement. China and Russia will take strong measures to deepen the cooperation in economic and trade, science and technology and other areas and will face the international financial crisis together to boost the economic development, pointed out the Statement. In order to realize this goal, the two sides agree to take positive evaluations for the cooperation in intellectual property rights protection and go on with and deepen the cooperation in related areas. |
