Zhejiang: trademark pledge loan to become true in Hangzhou

At the end of 2009, Hangzhou Municipal Industry and Commerce Bureau will join hands with Hangzhou Bank to provide IPR pledge loan service for enterprises. At the appointed time, some of the enterprises can get financed by pledging their IPR such as trademarks and patents. The reporter also learnt that the Managerial Measures on IPR Pledge Loan of Hangzhou Bank is under opinion solicitation and will be put into use at the end of this year.

According to Hangzhou Municipal Industry and Commerce Bureau, nowadays, Hangzhou owns more than 50,000 pieces of valid trademarks and over 1,000 well-known and famous trademarks. In the near future, enterprises can entrust appraisal companies designated by the bank to assess their trademarks and get loan based on the assessment value of their trademarks. "In allusion to the elementary plan, the credit limit of China Well-known Trademark can not exceed 30% of the evaluation and the credit limit of provincial and city famous trademarks can not preponderate over 20%. The credit limit for all the IPR pledge loan is generally 20% to 30%", introduced the employee of Hangzhou Bank.
